Roshawn's Mission At The Core

Roshawn's mission is to empower educators and professionals to reclaim their energy and emotional well-being using personalized coaching, functional lab testing, and nervous system education. Each client is met with compassion and not judgment, because healing isn't linear, and no one should do it alone.
Roshawn Nicole is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), trauma-informed wellness educator, and former classroom teacher turned healer. She specializes in helping educators and high-performing professionals recover from burnout, chronic fatigue, and emotional exhaustion using evidence-based tools like functional lab testing, nervous system education, and the D.R.E.S.S.® protocol.
From The ICU To Functional Wellness
In 2012, Roshawn Nicole faced a life-altering health crisis that landed her in the intensive care unit for 30 days. After three emergency abdominal surgeries, including appendix removal, colectomy, and treatment for a severe abdominal abscess and sepsis, she was left with a temporary ileostomy bag to help her body heal, and a long medical journey to recover.

Despite being a passionate educator for over 15 years, she often pushed through the classroom while silently battling burnout and breakdown.
At the end of 2020, Roshawn reached a turning point and entered a two-month treatment program. It was during this healing time that she wrote her award-winning songs, “Wounded Scars” and “Free”—powerful anthems that helped her process her pain and become a voice for breaking the stigma of mental illness.
For Roshawn, enduring a life-threatening health crisis, navigating her journey through medical trauma, addiction, PTSD, and deep emotional fatigue became the foundation for the work she offers today. What once felt like the end became the beginning of a deeper calling.
